What is a Virtual Tour?

A Virtual Tour is an immersive tour that goes far beyond what pictures can provide by bringing the user into the environment and allowing them to interact with the environment. Commonly this is achieved with computer modeling or 360 Degree Imaging. They can be viewed on any electronic device with internet access.

For the purposes of RoseWood Tours, a virtual tour is a digital marketing tool used to give customers a tour of a location in a way that is very close to actually being there and offer interactions such as links to websites & social media, information pop-ups and maps to make navigation simple for all users.

What kind of virtual tours does rosewood offer?

We currently offer two types of Virtual Tours. Google Maps Street View Tour and Premium Interactive Tours.

Google Maps Street View:

Google Maps Street View is tied directly to an address and can be accessed by searching for a location by business name or address on Google or Google Maps. Advertising is limited to the bottom portion of 360 Imagery (called the Nadir) and cannot take up more than 25% of the image. This style of tour is most useful when showing customers a business’s location and providing a brief view of areas inside. It can be thought of as the imagery customers see while searching for a business and checking its map location.

Premium Interactive Tours:

A Premium Interactive Tour provides a much more in-depth experience than a Google Maps Street View. With customizable features, lead generation forms, and advertising opportunities this style of tour is meant for customers to interact. This style of tour can be embedded directly onto most websites and social media platforms.

We offer tours that range from a Google Maps Street View Photoshoot to a fully Interactive Tour. A few exclusive options available with an Interactive Tour are Store/Business Highlights, Advertisements, Website, Social Media links, Business Logos, and In-Tour Lead Generation forms.

We also offer our services auditing businesses ' online presence. Audits include a review and a list of improvements for Business Websites, Google Business Listings, and Social Media accounts. Improving accounts will lead to improved Search Engine Optimization and increased customer engagement.

My name is Kyle Perkins and I am the Owner/Operator of RoseWood Virtual Tours. Above are a few of my favorite pictures of my beautiful wife, Kayla, and our wonderful daughter, Charlotte. We love hiking and enjoy being outdoors any chance we get. I have a background in Engineering and my wife is a local educator. We both grew up in East Tennessee and are proud to live here!

The idea to start RoseWood came from a late-night discussion with a good friend. He had heard about people starting to do virtual tours for real-estate during the COVID-19 pandemic. We both thought it was an interesting idea so I decided it was worth a little research. After reading up on the subject and researching quite a few entrepreneurs who have been quite successful I decided to begin the journey myself.

I invested in a 360 camera, upgraded my computer, and got to work. I have been building my knowledge and my credentials to better serve my customers and showcase the spaces they are so proud of. I am a Google Street View Trusted Photographer and have over 45,000 views of my local pictures on Google Maps. I am currently studying to become a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Professional and hope to become so much more as a Digital Marketing Expert. Including web design, graphic design & media marketing.

I saw an unfilled need in the greater Knoxville area and discovered how passionate I am about showing off homes, businesses, parks, and other places in our community. My goal is to help showcase the many great homes and local businesses we have in East Tennessee.
